Aruma assays on the way as Tillex drilling continues

Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) is pushing beyond the known high-grade copper-silver pod at its Tillex Project in Ontario, with six Phase-2 diamond holes now complete and first assays expected within two weeks.

The company has drilled 1,046m of a planned 3,600m program and is now testing around 100m southwest of the current drill-defined mineralised footprint.

Six holes, target rocks every time

All six completed holes have intersected the targeted stratigraphy, including argillite, porphyry, volcanic tuff and dacite-andesite units.

Logging has also confirmed alteration and structural features consistent with Aruma’s evolving mineralisation model.

Tillex is being tested for scale

The Phase-2 program is designed to test both strike and depth extensions beyond the existing high-grade copper-silver pod.

Drilling is continuing southwest along strike, while deeper targets are also being built into the program as Aruma refines its geological model.

The full 3,600m campaign remains on schedule for completion in October despite some early fractured ground.

Old core could add another angle

Aruma is also reviewing and re-sampling historical drill core that was never assayed.

The first target is hole TX24-025, west of the current Tillex deposit.

If that core returns mineralisation, it could open another direction for footprint growth without needing a fresh hole to prove it.

Porphyry enters the picture

Aruma is also paying closer attention to porphyry units within the Tillex system.

Hole TX26-011 was drilled as a scissor hole to better understand structure, dip and true widths, while also testing the geometry of intrusive units.

That work should help sharpen deeper targeting as the program progresses.

What’s next

Drilling continues southwest, historical core is being re-sampled, and first assays are expected within two weeks.

Aruma has moved beyond the known pod, now Tillex has to prove the copper-silver system moved with it.
