Aruma extends Tillex and the copper keeps coming

Aruma’s Phase Two drilling has pushed the Tillex high-grade copper-silver zone further south-west, further east and deeper, while the system remains open...

Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) has delivered another strong batch of copper-silver results from Phase Two drilling at Tillex, extending the known high-grade footprint to the south-west and east while also confirming mineralisation at depth.

The standout hits include 27m at 1.00% copper and 3.92g/t silver, 14m at 1.38% copper and 5.0g/t silver, and 11.68m at 1.07% copper and 5.61g/t silver.

The real story is where those holes landed.

Step-outs are doing their job

Hole TX26-010 sits around 100m south-west of the existing high-grade zone and still returned broad, shallow copper mineralisation.

TX26-006 pushed the system about 30m further east, while TX26-009 added another broad hit around 35m south-west of the known zone.

That gives Aruma a much stronger case for continuity across a wider mineralised corridor, and importantly, the western edge is still not closed off.

Depth is still in play

The lateral growth is only part of the story.

TX26-007 also intersected copper-silver mineralisation at 182m below surface, confirming the system continues deeper and further south-west than previously established.

That does not make the deep story solved, but it does keep another growth direction alive.

Tillex is starting to look more connected

Phase One had already delivered some very large copper-silver intersections, including 89m at 2.04% copper and 87m at 1.99% copper.

Phase Two is now showing that the mineralisation continues beyond that original footprint.

The broader Tillex Trend is interpreted to extend for about 2.4km and remains largely unexplored outside the current drilling area.

That is where the next leg of the story sits.

What comes next

Only around one-third of the Phase Two program has been completed.

Results from holes further south-west are still pending, including TX26-013 around 130m from the existing high-grade zone.

Aruma also plans to keep drilling west and south-west, update its geological model and test more of the open footprint.

The latest results have not just added more copper, they have added more room for Tillex to grow.
