ClearVue cleared for takeoff

CEC approval unlocks Australia’s commercial rooftop solar market for ClearVue...

Another key milestone is locked in.

ClearVue Technologies has secured Clean Energy Council (CEC) approval for its ClearVue-Helios rooftop solar panels, removing a major commercial hurdle and allowing the product to qualify for Australian government solar incentives.

The certification also means the panels can now be connected to the Australian electricity grid, opening the door to wider commercial adoption.

A critical step towards commercial sales

CEC approval is the benchmark for Australia’s solar industry, verifying products meet strict international performance, durability and electrical safety standards.

For ClearVue, it means customers, developers and installers can now specify ClearVue-Helios with confidence while accessing government renewable energy incentives.

The timing is also significant following the Federal Government’s expansion of commercial solar incentives from 100kW to 1MW, reducing upfront installation costs for larger commercial projects.

Built for commercial buildings

ClearVue-Helios combines a metal-backed rooftop solar system with integrated building functionality, delivering up to 600W per panel and 220W/m² while acting as a secondary weatherproof roof.

The system also carries a Class A fire rating, a 30-year performance warranty and a 15-year product warranty.

Managing Director Doug Hunt said the certification strengthens the commercial opportunity for ClearVue-Helios while giving customers greater confidence in specifying the product.

What’s next?

With certification complete and government incentives expanding, ClearVue can now pursue a broader pipeline of Australian commercial rooftop projects while continuing to grow its portfolio of energy-generating building products.
