West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) is preparing to launch an 18-hole, ~1,800m diamond program across Elizabeth Hill in early October, with drilling split across four workstreams. Resource development, western extensions, the high-grade Deeps zone and the down-plunge position beneath the historic mine.
Four shots at growth
The program has been built directly from the company’s 2025 and 2026 drilling and is designed to tighten confidence inside the current 2.8Moz silver Resource while also testing mineralisation beyond it.
Six holes will target selected Inferred material above the historic workings, with the aim of supporting potential conversion to Indicated status and feeding geotechnical and metallurgical work.
Another eight holes will step west into broad silver mineralisation already defined outside the current MRE block model. That gives West Coast Silver a direct shot at adding new ounces rather than simply reshuffling confidence categories.

Deeps could be the wildcard
The most intriguing target may be Elizabeth Hill Deeps.
The interpreted zone sits east of the main Munni Munni Fault Zone, remains open to the east and south, and has already produced high-grade hits including 7m @ 607g/t Ag, with 1m @ 3,340g/t Ag, and 3m @ 524g/t Ag, including 1.5m @ 1,039g/t Ag.
Recent drilling has helped bracket the structure, so the next holes are aimed at testing continuity rather than hunting blind.
That matters because if the Deeps interpretation holds, it could define a discrete high-grade zone outside the current Resource and potentially open up a new structural target style at Elizabeth Hill.
Below the old mine
West Coast Silver is also testing immediately below the deepest historic workings on the 102 Level, where drilling remains sparse.
High-grade silver was mined there historically, and the next holes will test whether that mineralisation keeps going down plunge into an area not yet well constrained by drilling.
Two Resource updates, then the Scoping Study
The timing is tight.
A separate MRE update remains scheduled for November 2026, while results from the new program are expected to feed into another Resource update in March 2027 and the Q1 2027 Scoping Study.
That gives investors a pretty clear sequence of catalysts. Drill start, assays, November MRE, more drilling, March MRE and then first-pass project economics.
Elizabeth Hill has already shown it can carry serious grade. Historic production totalled 1.2Moz of silver from just 16,830t at a head grade of 2,194g/t Ag.
Now West Coast Silver is drilling to find out how much of that story still sits outside the old mine and outside the current model.
