Evergold’s Leonora back on the drill list

Craig’s Rest already gave Evergold a resource. Katalina, Sirius and Jack’s Reward now give it three more places to chase growth...

Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) has sharpened its Leonora Goldfields story with three priority gold targets around Craig’s Rest.

Regional geochemistry and detailed drone magnetics have expanded Katalina and defined two new targets at Sirius and Jack’s Reward, all within the same broader tenure as Evergold’s existing 63,000oz JORC resource.

Three targets, one bigger gold system

Katalina has expanded into an approximately 500m x 500m target zone, with 24 samples above 10ppb gold and a peak of 200ppb.

Sirius sits ~900m southwest and returned five anomalous samples, while Jack’s Reward delivered 150ppb gold and sits on the interpreted Wonder structural corridor.

The important part is not just the anomalies, it is where they sit.

The new magnetic data shows a clear relationship between the gold response and interpreted structural corridors, giving Evergold a much tighter basis for drilling.

The Wonder structure adds context

Jack’s Reward and Sirius sit around 3.5km along strike from Northern Star’s ~1Moz Wonder deposit, along a structure Evergold interprets to continue into its tenure.

That does not make them extensions of Wonder, but it does give the targets stronger structural context than isolated surface anomalies.

Craig’s Rest still matters

Leonora already hosts 63,000oz at 1.41g/t gold, including 48,600oz at Craig’s Rest.

Craig’s Rest remains open to the west-southwest and down dip, with resource-definition drilling planned.

That means Evergold now has two ways to grow Leonora.

What’s next

The company is progressing heritage clearance ahead of first-pass RC drilling at Katalina, Sirius and Jack’s Reward, while resource-definition drilling at Craig’s Rest also moves forward.

At Mt Monger, 7,000m of aircore drilling has been completed, with assays pending and RC follow-up planned for October.

Evergold has found the structures, now it needs the drill bit to find the gold.
