Flynn Gold (ASX:FG1) has returned multiple zones of gold-tungsten-copper-cobalt mineralisation from the latest drilling at Firetower in northern Tasmania.
The standout hole, 2019FTD015E, returned 12.5m @ 0.55g/t Au from 158.5m, including 1.9m @ 2.02g/t Au with 0.56% WO3, plus deeper zones carrying more gold, tungsten and copper.
The sharpest hit came deeper again, 0.20m @ 13.5g/t Au, 2.26% WO3, 4.37% Cu and 0.74% Co.
The metal basket keeps widening
The latest results reinforce Firetower as a polymetallic system rather than a single-commodity gold play.
Mineralisation has now been demonstrated over roughly 250m of strike and to around 200m vertical depth, with the system still open along strike and at depth.
Previous holes have already delivered broad gold-tungsten intercepts, so the latest assays are building continuity rather than starting a new story.

Resource work is getting closer
Two more diamond holes have been completed and assays are expected in September.
Part of the core will also be used for metallurgical testwork, with Flynn planning geological modelling and a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate once the current drilling phase is wrapped up.
Managing Director Neil Marston said the latest results confirm multiple polymetallic zones and support the next stage of resource evaluation.
What’s next
More assays, metallurgy, resource modelling.
Firetower already has the metals, now Flynn has to prove the scale.
