H3 Energy (ASX:H3E) has given investors a fresh read on its farm-out strategy, with industry interest building across both Alinya in South Australia and Warro in Western Australia.
The company says confidentiality agreements have been signed with a number of parties at Alinya, while four have been executed at Warro.
More importantly, some prospective Warro participants have already completed initial evaluations and been invited to submit commercial proposals.
The process is moving.
Alinya has the bigger headline
Alinya is the more diversified of the two assets.
H3 is targeting prospective resources of up to 4.3 Tcf of natural gas and 1.3 billion barrels of liquids across the project.
At Rickerscote alone, the company also points to independently assessed upside of up to 1.2 billion kilograms of natural hydrogen and 209 Bcf of helium.
Gas, liquids, hydrogen, helium.
Four commodities in one underexplored basin is a strong pitch if H3 can find the right partner.
Warro is further into the deal process
Warro is a more straightforward gas story.
Four confidentiality agreements have been executed, interested parties have reviewed the technical and commercial data, and some have now been invited to submit proposals.
That puts Warro closer to the point where industry interest has to become commercial.
H3 is also continuing technical and approvals work in parallel so that any new joint venture can move quickly toward commercialisation.
Why the farm-out matters
H3’s challenge is not lack of project scale.
It is how to advance that scale without carrying the full capital burden alone.
The right partner could bring funding, technical capability and development experience while allowing H3 to preserve meaningful exposure to the upside.
What comes next
The company is still clear that there is no guarantee the current discussions will lead to binding agreements.
But the latest update shows both processes have moved beyond first contact.
At Alinya, more parties are entering the data room.
At Warro, evaluations are already mature enough for commercial proposals.
The next real catalyst is simple, H3 does not need more interest, it needs a deal.
