KTEK unlocks its trans-Atlantic supply route

Licence secured. Supply corridor open. US deliveries are next for KTEK.

KTEK Aerosystems (ASX:KTK) has secured the export licence needed to move components from its Netherlands operations into the United States, clearing a key regulatory hurdle in its US expansion strategy.

The approval allows European-made components to be shipped into KTEK’s US facility, assembled locally and delivered to specified American customers.

With the facility already secured, the company now has the two key pieces in place for its planned US route to market.

The trans-Atlantic corridor is live

The new licence establishes a direct supply path between KTEK’s European manufacturing base and its US assembly operation.

That gives the company another logistics route alongside its existing European and Israeli operations, while also bringing final assembly closer to US customers.

For a defence and UAV supplier, that local capability matters.

It improves supply chain flexibility, shortens the route to customer delivery and gives KTEK a stronger platform to pursue additional US business.

September remains the target

The next step is execution.

KTEK will now put the people, systems and operational processes in place to begin receiving components and carrying out local assembly.

That includes logistics, quality systems, traceability, staffing and remaining customer acceptance requirements.

Managing Director Dekel Keisar said the export licence completes a key regulatory step in establishing the company’s US route to market.

IPO strategy starts taking shape

KTEK flagged US expansion as a major priority in its April IPO prospectus, allocating up to A$3.1M over two years to build regulatory approvals, local assembly and supply chain capacity.

The US facility was secured in June.

Now the licence is approved.

That leaves KTEK focused on moving from setup to actual deliveries.

What’s next

KTEK remains on track to recommence customer deliveries in September 2026, subject to final operational readiness and customer acceptance.

Production is then expected to ramp progressively.

Before then, investors will have an opportunity to hear directly from the company in Melbourne, with KTEK set to present at the Sonder Management x That Stock Chick Investor Lunch on August 24.

The US strategy is no longer just a plan. The infrastructure and export pathway are now in place, and the next milestone is revenue-generating deliveries.
