McLaren drills even more grade into a bigger resource story

McLaren Minerals has delivered another broad batch of heavy mineral results from surface, with grades again coming in above the current resource average ahead of a planned resource update...

McLaren Minerals (ASX:MML) has delivered another strong batch from its 2026 resource upgrade program, led by 24m at 7.54% heavy minerals from surface.

The latest 61 holes cover 1,293m of sampled intervals and averaged 4.57% HM over an average thickness of 21.2m.

Every reported interval starts at surface.

That is the part investors should notice.

Broad and shallow

McLaren is not relying on isolated spikes.

Ten holes returned at least 21m at 5% HM or better, while eight of those ran for at least 24m.

The standout hole, MAC467, returned 24m at 7.54% HM from surface and included a peak one-metre assay of 20.10% HM.

MAC468 added 13m at 7.25% HM from surface.

The width is there, the grade is there, and the mineralisation is starting right at surface.

Better than the current resource

The existing 2025 Mineral Resource stands at 529Mt at 4.5% HM.

That gives the latest drilling some context.

Recent batches have averaged 4.96%, 5.44% and now 4.57% HM from surface.

The new drilling does not yet rewrite the resource.

But it is giving McLaren a stronger dataset to work with when the update lands later this year.

Resource upgrade comes next

The 2026 program was designed to lift confidence in the existing resource, support future Ore Reserve work and feed into Bankable Feasibility Study activities.

McLaren will now bring the full drilling dataset into an updated geological model and Mineral Resource estimate.

Metallurgical testwork and technical studies are also continuing.

What comes next

The market already knows McLaren has scale.

The next update is about improving confidence, grade distribution and development quality.

With broad intervals, strong grades and mineralisation starting at surface, McLaren is giving itself plenty to work with.

The resource is already big, now the company is trying to make it better.
