Parbo rings the ASX bell and the market comes running

Parbo Resources (ASX:PRB) has made a strong ASX debut, with shares closing 35% higher on strong volume after completing a A$5M IPO.

And unlike plenty of fresh listings, Parbo has not arrived with months of preparation still ahead.

The drill rig is already on the ground.

Parbo commenced trading today with an enterprise value of around A$5.9M, a 1,226km² WA landholding and four priority drill targets across its Mount Padbury and Bryah Basin projects.

A hot start

The company’s IPO was fully underwritten and supported by New Murchison Gold, which has emerged with a 17.5% strategic stake.

That gives Parbo a relatively clean starting point.

Cash in, strategic backing, and exploration already underway.

Drilling before the dust settles

Parbo’s first move is at Brians Mill within the Bryah Basin Project, where a maiden aircore program of around 5,600m is already underway.

That will be followed by further drilling across Mount Padbury, including around 12,500m of aircore at the Oddjob prospect, while 1,600m of deeper drilling is planned to test VMS-style copper-gold targets at Bryah Basin.

The listing story will quickly become a drilling story.

Two projects, two different shots

Mount Padbury is the gold side of the portfolio.

The project covers around 765km² and has seen little meaningful historical drilling, with modern geophysics used to define concealed greenstone targets beneath cover.

Bryah Basin brings the copper-gold angle.

Parbo controls around 461km² there and is targeting VMS-style mineralisation, with multiple drill-ready targets already defined.

That gives the company multiple ways to generate newsflow from day one.

What comes next

The near-term focus is simple. Drill.

Brians Mill is already underway, Oddjob follows, and deeper Bryah Basin targets are lined up behind it.

For a new ASX listing, Parbo has skipped the long introduction.

The stock is already moving, now the drill bit has to keep the story moving with it.
