Resolution’s Golden Gate South has arrived

A 305.7m gold intercept from surface has confirmed Golden Gate South as a genuine discovery, stretching Resolution Minerals footprint.

Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has landed a standout 305.7m @ 0.64g/t Au from surface at Golden Gate South.

Broad gold mineralisation has been intersected in all three first reported holes from its 2026 drill program at their 100% owned Horse Heaven Antimony-Tungsten-Gold-Silver Project.

The result helps extend known gold mineralisation at least 2,000m south of Golden Gate North and confirms what the company is calling discovery status at Golden Gate South.

Broad, shallow and still running

The headline hole, HH-GG26-003C, carried gold from surface to the bottom of the hole and included higher-grade zones such as 17.25m @ 1.19g/t Au from 264.85m.

The other two reported holes also hit broad near-surface mineralisation, including:

  • 49.5m @ 0.58g/t Au from surface
  • 32.6m @ 0.49g/t Au from surface
  • 87.87m @ 0.52g/t Au from 48.97m

The bigger picture

The first three holes suggest Golden Gate South could be part of a much larger mineralised system stretching toward Golden Gate North.

That matters because Resolution is not drilling a small program.

A total of 33 diamond holes for around 9,700m have already been completed, with another 28 holes sitting in the assay pipeline.

CEO of US Operations Craig Lindsay said the three holes support the view that mineralisation may continue between Golden Gate South and North.

What’s next

Drilling is continuing through to mid-September as Resolution works through its planned program of up to 13,700m across as many as 45 holes.

The first three holes have already stretched the map.

The next 28 assays will show just how far Golden Gate can run.
