Fresh diamond results from Yugo Metals (ASX:YUG) Erak discovery in Bosnia-Herzegovina have delivered another thick gold intercept, led by 36.1m @ 2.3g/t Au from 51.8m.
Inside that hit was some serious grade:
- 3m @ 14.5g/t Au, including 1m @ 42.5g/t Au
- 1.9m @ 16.0g/t Au, including 0.9m @ 26.6g/t Au
Another hole returned 10.4m @ 2.6g/t Au, including 1.2m @ 20.9g/t Au.
Erak keeps opening up
Nine holes have now been completed for 1,057m, with mineralisation remaining open in several directions.
The new results support a broader hydrothermal gold system containing higher-grade zones, and drilling is continuing to chase its extensions.
CEO Petar Tomašević said the results strengthen confidence in the geological model and the potential scale of Erak.

The best trench is still waiting
Perhaps the most interesting part is what hasn’t been drilled yet.
Yugo Metals is preparing access to the eastern side of Erak, where historical trenching returned 61m @ 1.5g/t Au.
That area remains untouched by the current diamond campaign.
If the drill can reproduce that surface width at depth, it could add another dimension to the discovery.
What’s next
Drilling will continue through the rest of 2026, with more assays to come and the rig set to move towards the 61m trench target.
Preliminary metallurgical testwork is also being organised.
Erak already has width. It already has grade. Now Yugo Metals needs to find out how far it goes.
